greetings from wisconsin

New rider here. bought my first bike march 15th and just love it. picked up a 07 vstar 650 custom with 5000 miles on it. has mustang seat, windshield, and saddlebag supports. already had the wife on the back and she loves it as well.

Welcome to the bored! What part of the greatest state in the US are you from?

Way to show the other forumees that you read the book of newb and put some pics of your scoot!

If you're close to the western side of the state and are interested in a fun ride, the Flood Run is happening on the 21st! Go to www.floodrun.org for some specifics. Always a good ride along the Mississippi River!

Welcome, fellow cheesehead.

Roxtar, are you doing the Flood Run? We'll be there, it's been on the calendar since last year. Hopefully it'll be a better day than the spring run last year.

I plan on being there too. I didn't make it the last 2 years because of work but unless there are tornados or a blizzard I will be there this year!

We get over that way once in a while too! Always have to make a run to Doc's to check out the zoo and have some ribs at the Timeline Saloon!

Lost punk? However do you light your fireworks?

First: Welcome

Second: Take an even strain and relax, nobody was casting aspersions or asparagus. "Newb" is used to refer in a comradely fashion to new people on the forum, and sometimes to people new to motorcycles (or any other mechanical discipline).

Third: This forum tends to keep things light, so bring your sense of humor. People will always help and provide information, but occasionally you may have to strain through the mirth and merriment to get to your answer.
