Welcome to the 4M.
My first bike with a license plate was a Yamaha 250, a long time ago. There are several VStar 250's on here with you, enjoy!

Hi Erik! The 250 is a fun little bike and is a great way to cut your teeth. There are plenty of add-ons out there for it and lots of people with them to answer anyquestions you might have!

Welcome to the forum Erik. Good choice for your first bike.

You should be catching cc fever fast enough. CC fever as it is described in the book of newb, is a fever that you get once you realize what you have been missing by not ridding. By the way, the book of newb also gives other info on such things as not getting new mods on your back because you didn't post a pic of your ride, guidelines on choosing the right colour for your bike and so on

Ride safe, learn lots and keep the shiny side up.

Welcome Erik. My 1st bike with a lic plate was a Kawasaki 100. You will like the fuel mileage from that 250. Great bike. I would suggest that being a new rider you take a riders safety course. Ride safe and keep the shiny side up.
