New in Southern California

With gas price the way they have been, my motorcycle has become a daily driver and the car ( a 2010 Camaro SS) has become the garage queen, I decided I need a more comfortable ride. I traded in my bike, a 2009 Suzuki Gladius, on a brand new 2011 V-Star 1300 Touring. The final straw for the Suzuki was a 900 mile round trip from San Diego to Oakland. I loved being able to make the trip on $80 in gas, but my backside paid the price. With the future holding more long trips for me, I decided it was time. The Gladius is a fun bike for short trips and twisty roads, but lacks any kind of padding in the seat.

aftermarket seats seem to be the norm with cruisers nowadays. it's one of the best investments you can make into your bike
