Hello from D/FW

I am new to Yamaha...should be getting a 2002 Yamaha V Star 1100 Silverado on Saturday! Is there anything I should be looking for before I make the purchase? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Welcome from where ever i may be

From some past conversations i've heard while lurking around here i would say: "Ask the dealer/owner about 1)starter clutch issues 2)lubrication of the rear drive spline/shaft 3)why am i so handsome?"

BTW, i have 2005 1100 and haven't had these issues but i've heard others have

I'm guessing the bike is a little young to have served. Although, i have heard of 17 year olds being accepted into the Army with parents consent/permission
