07 650 headlight relay

I am looking for info on headlight relay. part number and location please. My bike blows the headlight fuse when key is activated. As I understand it there is no power to headlight until engine is running so there shouldn't be a problem in the wiring from the dimmer to light. just working backwards from switch. please help.

There is no relay. Check for voltage at the fuse with the bike running. It shouldn't be more than about 14.7 volts....
if its 15-17 or higher your voltage regulator is blown and needs replacing...if its within spec then you probably have
a short somewhere in the power wire to the headlight that's touching ground (the frame)
