Talking Hello from Baytown, TX

Looking at getting the V-Star 950 for my next bike. I had a Kawasaki Vulcan 700 before it was stolen.

The handle is Preach.

Welcome to the forum, Preach. Sorry to hear about your previous bike getting stolen.

Maybe it's a blessing in disguise, though, since you're looking at the V-Star 950, commonly known to be the greatest bike in the history of the world.

Welcome! And would be good to hear your thoughts on comparing the two bikes. I looked at Kaw before deciding on the Vstar 950. Thinking I made the right move, for sure!

Welcome to the 4M.

I owned two kawi's back to back before switching to the Yammi cruizers. I still own one of the Kawi's (will participate in vintage bike shows with it someday).

Welcome to our interweb place. A nice choice the 950 but I'm sure you chose it because the only bike you ever wanted is not made anymore; the 1100 .

Ride safe, tell us your opinion on both and keep it shiny side up.

Welcome Preach. Hope your bike didn't get stolen while you were.... preaching.

I have an 1100 myself, but I have noticed there's a lot of aftermarket stuff for the 950 that you can't get for the 1100. It could be just me, but I have run into some frustration in that area.

Good luck.....
