hello from west Michigan

My bosses surprised me with a 2006 650 v-star, just gave me one out of the blue. Needless to say I'm still in shock. Anyway my current bike has over 100,000 miles on it. Need to learn about my new ride, its not running right now as its been in storage for three years. Somethings wrong with the fuel delivery system. I'm systematically running down all systems, replacing hoses, eaten wires by rats, yeah found a nest in the head light bracket, also just to get to know this machine. Hope to learn as much as I can from you guys, and I'll share whatever knowledge that i can with you. Anyway, glad to have found this site.

Hi Frank, I agree with sonysnek, can't beat the price. May I suggest purchasing a service/repair manual for your 650. They're fairly simple to work on, at least my 07' was. Be sure to send us some pics of it when you get er' up and running.
