Dropping in to join so I can get help at times with our new bike. My wife wanted to move up from her Triumph America that she had been riding this year to get a bagger and the natural choice seems like the V-Star 1300 Tourer. We located a nice white 2009 with 7k miles and snagged it for $5400. It's in awesome shape with new tires and pretty much perfect condition. We've had it a whole week and put 700 miles on it. Never to leave things alone, I've installed a K&N drop in filter, Power Commander V, Kuryakyn grips, Yamaha engine guards and we're waiting for the V&H 2-1 Pro Pipe to show up.
My main question here is about Power Commander V maps. From what I've seen on the Power Commander site the V&H 2-1 map they offer is from the older version of that exhaust. I'm wondering what people thought of using it with the new 2-1 exhaust and if there is anyone that can send me a custom map from a dyno tuned bike to compare. I'd also like to see what someone has done with a working Ignition Timing map from the Power Commander. I made significant changes to the Ignition Timing map on my Kawi VN1700 Vaquero map which really made all the difference in the world to that bike.

Got some photos taken the other day after I got the new Saddleman Profiler seat installed. The seat is amazing and solves the complains that we both had with the factory seat being a huge flat bench without any real purpose to support the rider. The new SS Custom bars arrived today and I'll get those installed Wednesday on my next day off work.
