I'm new to this "cruiser" style of riding. I started off on little dirt bikes, as most folks tend to do. But, I cut my teeth on street bikes when I was 18 and I bought one of those new fangled "sport bikes" from a co-worker, a Ninja 900! I could barely keep it upright at the stop lights and was trembling for most of the first month. But, here we are a couple of years later (ahem!) and now my tired knees finally won the battle of comfort over way-too-much-performance.
The first cruiser I rode was my buddy's 2004 Road Star. I must admit that the performance was disappointing since I was riding my 2009 Concours14 just minutes before. The ride was nice, but I stuck with my Connie for a while longer until the same buddy convinced me to take this thing called a Roadliner for a test drive. Wow!
