New Guy from NC
I started several years ago on a Kawasaki Ninja 500. Fun little bike. Sold it and got a Ninja 650, once again fun but I wanted more.
Traded it for a 99 R1, now we are talking. When I picked it up the sky was blue, by the time I got it on the road it was pouring and getting dark. Maybe that was a sign. Laid it down and broke my collarbone. 6 months later a friend totaled it making a right turn. Poor R1, only had 6k miles on it.
Found a busted up 04 Triumph Daytona 600. Streetfightered it and man that thing was fun. Sold it and got a 2000 R1. Love my R1's. It was in pretty rough shape, but put in some work and got it ready for paint. A buddy airbrushed it after painting. Ended up having to sell it. Sad day for me.
A little while later found an 89 Vmax that had been sitting for a few years. Finally picked it up and got her home. Went over everything, upgraded the starter and rebuilt the carbs. She ran very well. Sold her also.
So now the reason I am back, I just got a new project. 2000 Roadstar 1600 with around 30k miles on it. It had been laid down and needs a little work but it starts and runs. That is an improvement over my last 2 projects.
As you can see I am not scared of a little work.
