Catching my "2nd Wind"

Hey Guys, great to see an active group that caters to my particular Bike line. the V Star,
As to the former owner of my 09 V-Star 950 whom traide' it in at Lawrenceville, GA, Honda/Yamaha thanks for taking care of her, shes a great ride, and you can bet I'll ride her respectfully.

I lost my first Love (76 Honda CB 750-A) in a flood while I was out of town on family business back in 91 and was never able to shack the desire to get back on two wheels. Then just 3 week ago it became obvious how much I could save in fuel on a bike ver. my Silverado with 5.7L engine, the savings is more than paying for the cost of ownership.
I started shopping for a Shadow line and the salesman showed me the V-Star he took in on a trade "now about 6 week ago" it was already dressed just as I wanted my shadow, and at a lower price point to boot, (Thanks Jeff!) and now I don't believe I would have been as happy with that 750 shadow (thanks again). The 950 makes my Daily 102 mile round trip commute much more affordable and more enjoyable. I've got my vacation coming up next month so I guess I'll be headed south to FL on two wheels. who knows maybe I'll see ya around the next bend. Happy Trails every one .....

as a fellow member of the Greatest Bike In The History Of The World Club, i also welcome you. as a new member, your keys to your priv......almost let it slip again. there are certain perks you get for being a 950 owner that other bike owners are not privy to and we need to utilize a virtual 'curtain' to shield them from our first class and keep them back in coach.

on a steel horse I ride
