New here. With a V-star!

Hey everyone,

I just bought a 2000 V-star from a friend. This was after I sold my last bike and told myself I'd wait a bit for things to stabilize in my life. And then a coworker offered me an offer I couldn't refuse! Sorry for the awful pic, another coworker parked on the other side of it...

14,000 miles on it, and I bought it for $1,500.

And of course with my luck I found a leak from the final drive. Which led me to this forum. And I can't seem to start a thread in the V-star forum!

Welcome aboard. I think you have to post a few times in this thread & then you should be able to do more (like make fun of the crazy people in the 'Blue Bike Club' )

My LAST BIKE wasn't black, but it may have been a bit faster.

Welcome to the forum! Parts of your last bike were black, and that explains why it was so fast.
