Hello From Vancouver WA

Hi All:
I just bought my first bike since I was in high school, a 2002 V Star Classic. I'm looking forward to learning about the bike as well as how to ride safely and having a great time. I guess you could say I've begun my mid life crisis a few years early. Or at least that's what my wife says!

Welcome to the insanity!

Seeing as it's been a while, I would highly recommend doing an MSF beginners course as a refresher.

Welcome to the forum. It's not mid life unless you get a convertible, a cabin cruiser boat, a $3500 bicycle and tickets to go see lady gaga

Ride safe and keep it shiny side up.

2009 Stratoliner S

A few things added and more stuff to follow

Welcome from another Pacific NW'er. I don't think of mine as a mid life crisis, just a better way of touring and getting to see the beautiful scenery we are afforded here in the N.W. Levi gave me a great tour of Whidbey Island and Deception Pass on a recent meetup. Looking forward to the Oyster run later this month. Hopefully we see you there.

Ride safe and keep the shiny side up!!!
