New RSTD in Denver

Hi All,
Just picked up a new to me 06 RSDT. Traded in a Suzuki Boulevard C50.
Looking forward to the extra power and more space for my wife. Hope I can get some good info on this forum.

Lucky buck, living in Denver! There are some truly beautiful rides out there. I plan on going out next summer, and taking the bike with me.

Pikes Peak has a bit of gravel at the top. Look up Mount Evans. It is the highest paved road in north America. But it is only open about 4 months of the year. It is actually a higher peak than Pikes Peak. And only about 45 mins outside of Denver.

Got a sticker on my truck "Got Oxygen? Mt Evans Colorado 14,270'"
That last little bit at the top about killed me. Why'd you guys hide all the air? While I was gasping at the top, 2 REAL bikers came up- you know, the kind you gotta pedal. I was impressed. Anyway, I'm jealous, you live in one of the most beautiful places I've ever been, and I've seen a good bit of this ol' globe. Cheers!
