New Rider and New to the Forum

Hey everyone, I'm pretty new to riding and bought my first bike about a month ago. Picked up a 2002 V-Star 650 Custom after riding a Zuma for about 8 months. I'm actually joining to seek some advice on repairing the passing lamps on my bike after I put it down yesterday.

Welcome Andrew, glad you joined us, and that you're OK after putting your bike down. Send us some pics of your bike and the damage as that will help. Also ask your questions in the vstar section as well.

I have attached a couple of pictures of the damage. I was riding with a group of friends and took a corner faster than I should have. I went into a field and managed to keep it upright until I got onto a gravel driveway where the bike just tipped over. I thankful it didn't go down at a higher speed on the blacktop. The threaded bolt that connects the passing lamp to the turn signal broke. I really don't want to buy a whole new light assembly with as expensive as they are. The brake pedal also bent a bit it now sits above my foot.

Welcome Andrew, from southwestern PA. Sorry bout yer accident, but glad your ok. The bike can always be repaired easy enough. Takes the body a lot longer to heal.

You are the 2nd one in the last month or so looking for these parts? the first one said that the part
you need is no longer in stock but I think he was not getting it from Yamaha. I don't think Yamaha will sale it out of a kit.

I have a spare light kit and would sale you 1/2 of it because if I sale just one part than the rest of it is just part's
