Hello From a new member in Keller, TX

My cousins ride Harleys and Dual Purpose bikes so after much influencing, they have encouraged me to return to motorcycles. I bought from one of my cousins an immaculate 2005 Warrior 1700, and in the few weeks that I have had it I must say I'm overwhelmed with its speed, smoothness, reliability, and stability. Did I say fast, too? Since I'm a retired California high school teacher I spend every minute I can on one of my bikes (the other is a 2008 KLR 650). I hope to do some segments of the Great Divide or the TAT in the near future.

I know I have a lot of catching up to do, and lots to learn. I'm hoping to tap-in to the wealth of expertise on this forum. And, waiting to hook up with fellow riders in the Fort Worth area.

Welcome to the 4M.

My intro to cruisers was also on a Road Star Warrior...sometimes I make the best decision right off, that was one of them.

Next, here is what troubles me:
a) Your cousins ride HD's.
b) One of your cousins sold you the warrior

Does this mean he went over to HD after owning a warrior?

I'll keep a good thought and go with he's a 2nd or 3rd cousin.
