Newbie here 650 and 1100 customs

Hi there. This summer I picked up a 650 and an 1100 used Vstars, and they are a blast. Teaching the wife to ride, so she will be at the controls of the 650. Trying to learn all I can about these great cruisers for the 1100 I picked up had been layed down at low speed with tank damage, and I am considering customizing it over the winter.

Unless you're an instructor, I would HIGHLY recommend finding her an MSF basic rider course. No offense, it's just less stress on both ofyou probably and they provide the bike in the event she lays it over. Plus, it's an insurance discount in many states and gets her M/C license without taking the state driving course i nmost states.
