Thumbs up 650 in Australia

Hi All,
New to this forum as we, my son & I, just purchased a 1998 XVS 650 to rebuild as a bobber. I have been an active member on the Fury Forum for some years adding many do-it-yourself modifications.
Not knowing a great deal about these bikes I think we will be on here quite a bit. Currently stripping to the bare frame to have sand blasted and powder coated. I will post pictures of the progress as we get things done.

Cheers

Great to have members who share their projects! We all can learn from watching a new project in process. Thanks for joining our forum, too. So important to involve your son and allow him to learn the mechanics, etc. of motorcycles. Nothing greater than to later see the results and know the machine to respect its capabilities before enjoying the ride! Keep us informed as the project moves forward, please. YammyV

Hey Guy, welcome to the forum. Sounds like you'll be fixing the bike up real proper. Keep us updated and share some before and after...and during pics with us. Glad you can share something like this with your son.
