The wife and I will be there and a bunch of friends as well! It's going to be a big one this time! No other Fridays in summer months for a few years!

I'm riding down with some friends and we are camping in another friends yard, top of the hill 2 streets back from Tim Hortons (not that you can just go in and get a coffee on Fri.) I can just imagine the crowds this week since it's the only Fri 13th. Won't say, "Ill see you there" because that's going to be almost impossible to find someone.

Talking

My buddy and his wife lived on her parents farm just outside of town so we went often, then my step son lived there and we went a few more times. Last year was the first year I rode thru town on Fri. with all those others. Talk about group riding. This year the bike stays put on Friday.

If you are talking about last Dec. that's just normal for around here but if you mean last Sept. I have to agree. I think I saw frost when I left that Saturday morning. I even stopped at some small mom & pop store middle of nowhere and bought a hoodie to put on under my jacket. Typical changing weather we have. On the ride there it was like 30+C and on the ride home must have been almost 0C.

Made it back from Port Dover with out incident. The group of us did a lot of riding in 4 days. Here's a photo from Friday morning around 10am, of Hwy. 6 leading into town just before the Tim Horton's. Was told that the line was another 2 miles long up the hill and around the curve.

We got there around 9:30 came in the back way from Brantford on Cockshutt Rd. not busy at all. We left around 2:00 stopped in Waterford for wings. Reports say 100,000 people. Not a record breaker but still a lot of people!
