aftermarket grips for stryker bars

I was looking at my sons bike (2011) and saw that his throttle grip has the chrome end firmly attached to the bar end.

So when you twist the throttle the end cap does not turn with it.

When I purchased mine for the 650 w/ the throttle boss and the stock grips the end cap turns with the grip..

According to the ad on Ebay it states that the same grips I have will work on his bike as well. Now I'm not so sure.

Anybody got any ideas on how to deal with adding the after market grips with the throttle boss on a 2011 stryker please chime in.

those stock grips look the same as the ones i had on my 950. there is probably a button that you can pry off on at least one end of the grips which then gives you access to a screw. i ended up having to just cut off the black grips from mine.

They do have a button and an allen bolt you have to turn to remove the weight. It is one pice. It is not an allen holding the weight
