Greetings from Western Lake Ontario area. I purchased a black 2016 v-star 950 tourer last week. It will be delivered on Friday the 13th. Looking forward to the arrival of my black beauty. This forum is awesome and helped me decide between this bike and two other brands. Wishing everyone an awesome riding season.
Welcome from the Maritimes, Jose, and congrats on your new purchase. I ride an 1100 but there are a lot of 950 owners here who absolutely love them. Post a pic of her when she arrives so we can all drool a little...lol.
Riding your new bike home from the dealer / shop is sacred ritual, right along with dropping your brand new bike in the dealer parking lot.
So you live by that crazy giant bridge in St Catherine's? I drove across that many years ago in a car that blew out a radiator hose at the top of the bridge. Since there was no place to stop we came flying down the other side with a trail of billowing antifreeze steam, like a WW2 fighter plane that had been shot out of the sky.
Welcome from Houston, Texas. There are many 950 owners here for any questions you might have. Here's a few interesting threads to check out when you get a chance.
Hi Jose! Welcome to the forum from East Tennessee. Looking forward to seeing some pics of your bike. I ride an 09’ 950 tourer. Now if it’ll ever warm up, I’ll get er’ out of the garage and get in some seat time. Ride safely!
