Just jumped ship from a Kawasaki GTR1400 believe its called the Concours in the States! I have had my XV1900 for 2 weeks and im loving it :) so far I have replaced the stock seat with a Mustang complete with rider back rest also added a Cobra Sissy bar, my only complaint is the sound of the standard pipes I have a local company that can supply a Jardine system and they claim that there is no need to re map or fit a power commander, can anybody on here confirm if this is correct.

Mark........

i would recommend going with what the manufacturer says. if you get the pipes, and then find that your bike is running lean and could benefit from a fuel processor, you can always add that later. is yours a raider or a stratoliner?

Welcome aboard. We call your bike liners over here. Stratoliner that has bags and windshield.Roadliner goes without w/s and bags.If you could get a slip on muffler I think you would be happy with the sound.I have a Roadhouse slipon that sounds great. The only problem is that RH went out of business.D&D make a slipon that sounds good. With either of these you won't need to remap. With the Jardine it's a complete exhaust you will have to add a programer or remap to get rid of the popping on coast.
