How to adjust the clutch

well you need a jack or someway to stand the bike up, a second person perhaps. You'll need to loosen and perhaps remove the kickstand bracket. Remove the cover over the area where your clutch cable goes into the engine cases. There is a spring on the arm that the clutch lever hooks on. Loosen the cable tensioner at the clutch lever all the way in so there is no tension and allows free movement of the arm. Loosen the locknut on the arm, you may need a rod/screwdriver to lock the arm to break it free. (there is a convenient casting just for that) back the adjusting screw out till it free spins then back in till it just kisses the throwout then out again about a 1/4 turn. Tighten the locknut down. Put the cover back on. adjust the cable tension at the lever to have between an 1/8 to 1/4 slack at lever tip. Start bike and check clutch engagement/disengagement. Thumbs up, tighten the kickstand or put it back on if you removed it. Go for a ride to adjust "smileage"!
