I learned to ride on a friends Ninja. While he was deployed, I stored his bike for him. With his permission, I was able to use the bike to learn how to ride motorcycles. 8k miles later, I love that little thing, but it's just too uncomfortable for longer trips.

Wheel and Tire
When I got it, it had a trapezoidal michelin on it. As a new rider, these things were not confidence inspiring. They tended to drop into the corners, which always freaked me out. So when I burned them off, I moved to a conti sport attack. Absolutely amazing tires.
