My first bike was a Kawasaki ZX-11. When I switched to my 2001 V Star 1100, I lost about 90 horsepower. I don't regret making the change, but sometimes I miss the extra umph.

The bike I wanted was a buddy's Kawasaki Nomad 1500. He let me borrow it for awhile to see if I wanted to buy it, then backed out once I decided that indeed I wanted it, so I looked at and rode a few bikes, but had trouble finding that monstrous sound that the Nomad had.

Fortunately for me, someone did a pretty poor job of advertising the bike I wound up buying, so I got a great deal on a like new heavily accessorized 1100 that sounds every bit as loud and every bit as good as (perhaps better than) the Kawi.

Interestingly this video has had about 300 hits (and climbing) in the 12 hours since I posted it.
