I have an '09 1100 classic.

I removed all the emblems from the tank and the front fenders..I also removed the rear seat since my wife will never get on it and I like the way it looks. Currently I am waiting for my saddle bag easy brackets to arrive so I can bolt on the bags and lock them onto the bike. The problem I am having is the rear seat bolt the is fitted to the fram on the inside of the rear fender...How or does anyone know if I can get rid of it? I allready removed the POS stickers they put on the fender for the rear seat...I was thinking of cutting it down and then putting on a nut that has a design on it but cant find those anywhere. I heard they make them but I cant find them.

Any suggestions?

rear fender rack

If I understand you rquestion Yamaha makes a "rear Rack." I believe it mounts to the bolt that was for the rear seat and accents the rear fender when passenger seat removed. $87.

My wife's 650 has no rear seat, I plugged the hole with a plastic smooth top panel button that you would use on a car, you can get them at any auto parts store. This way if I go to sell the bike I can put everything back the way it was. Hope this helps.

If I understand, I myself would go with Eddie Eggs idea. Knock out, drill out, whatever it takes, put the button in, if you did want to replace it, no problem, a hardware store bolt back up through the right size and you are ready to go again. Just a thought.
