You might want to look at one of these:

I'm not sure what size bars you have, they make them for 7/8 " handlebars and 1 "...I'm guessing the 250 is 7/8. It's a bit small for a bigger bike--I bought one for my 650 and didn't like it. But it might be just the right size for what you want.
