Posted a separate thread re: what to look for in buying a Stratoliner Deluxe. However, wanted a separate discussion on basic operation/riding tips. Since this will be my first Tour bike (Honda 350 -> Honda 400 -> Honda 750, long layoff and then went with a Yamaha V-Star 950 and love the Yamaha brand), and I've never ridden a bike with this much weight, power and features. What riding advice would you give someone that you'd wish you knew? e.g: (examples)

- Bike is heavy, use both legs instead of just putting one down
- Use the trip meter and fill up ever "X" miles
- Be careful starting into low speed turns due to the engine power (that one I think I will be careful with)
- Etc.
