Wasn't looking for another bike untily 86 goldwing had an electrical fire, burnt up the wiring harness, anyway was looking at different bikes and the royal star caught my eye, itead up on them they seem very dependable and owners have all good things to say, a guy at work has on, I called him to ask what he thought, he is gonna sell it to me for 1000 bucks, 20k easy miles 2 seats a cover
So I think that's a steal can't wait to get it

Can’t beat the price. If he hasn’t been running it much expect to work out some kinks. Shouldn’t be anything major, but some carb cleaner or seafoam might be a good start. Also, don’t forget to check the tires, if they are older you may want to replace them for good measure.

Sounds like an excellent replacement for you. Sorry to hear the goldwing burned. Another bike to consider would be the Honda Valkyrie. They use the gold wing motor, but in a cruiser style bike. Really cool, worth checking out even if you are going to buy the star
