Hello guys and girls!

My name is Isabelle and I live in France, near Chartres, in the center of the country. I just bought a 950 with travel options. Here, we call XVS 950 Midnight Star Tour Classic finish for my husband and me.

Just before, I had an XJ6 Diversion (FZ6 actually).

My first impressions are very good and this bike, which nevertheless seemed heavy, are easily led, but I still find it difficult to maneuver in my garage. In addition, she is very comfortable. I am changing my FZ6!

As soon as I can, I put some pictures. I read a lot of very interesting things on your forum and that's what made me decide to buy the 950 which I'm really happy for now.

See you soon on the forum (not on the road because I would not come right away in your beautiful country!)

PS : please, excuse my bad English :)

Welcome

Isabelle,

Welcome, I see you went from a sport bike to a Cruiser. Diffferent style of riding. Cruising down the open road with a little rumble. Little heaver bike.

Hello everybody! Thank you for your welcome! It's been very fun!

@Dave : I bought the FZ6 just after getting my license. It's really a good bike and you can have fun with. However, it was not appropriate to make the road two and my husband had often hurt his back and arms after a long distance.

So, for comfort, we bought this 950 and, for now, he does not complain too much from the passenger seat.

The driving style is indeed very different and at first I admit I was a little lost (especially since the 950 is quite heavy) but now it is much better and I enjoy cruising so much!

@Bevo : Merci !

@Taboo : what a little greedy!

Welcome to the forum:D spent some time in France back in the 70's a lot of nice riding country. I liked the 17 mile long cave full of wine:eek: I think that you would be hard pressed to find a Hubby on the back over here. It is always good to see a Woman rider, and there ranks are growing fast :rolleyes:

Thank you for your welcome! The Bordeaux region is a beautiful region, not only for cruising but also to enjoy lots of good things (wine, food, etc ...) !

It's true! I have a good passenger so I take care of him!

Long live the bikers, whether men or women!

I've never been to Nimes-Garonne. But I know the area Lann Bihoue because my in-laws lived there for several years! I love the rugged coast of Brittany, still free of tourists!

And, as in many places ... great food!

I hope someday I could also discover your vast and beautiful country ... motorcycle! and maybe even meet some forum members!

And thank you Springer !

Thanks Aussielad !

My new bike enchanting! Even if it changes me a lot of the FZ6, I'm really glad everything it brings. It's really a nice bike.

I am always appreciative when I see what people can do, and restore a motorcycle, it is not nothing!

Thanks Jarhead !

I would liked the 1100 too but it is not available in France : it was either the 950 or the 1300 (but it will soon be imported here), or the 1900 but it was much too heavy for me :)

Nice to meet you. I am already in love with my bike actually :)

I hope you will get the opportunity to return to France for the fourth time that we can maybe make a few kilometers together
