On a 650. I seen j slam will bottom out was thinking about one of the kits. The bobber cycle kit makes it a hard tail I think which would work but would be rough. What about the pacific coast anybody use it with passenger? Or one of the other kits that are the same thing

If you do a j slam or similar lowering job, you will have issues bottoming out. I'm short and have lowered every bike I've ever owned, and have learned that a one inch drop it about the most you can go without some negative side effects. If you are doing the j slam on a bar hopper bike, you might be ok being two up if you are slow and careful. Other than that, I would not suggest. But if you do, below is a PDF for a cost effective way to regain some ridability to your bike.
