at 5:45PM EST on superbowl sunday the International Space Station will just happen to be flying over northern Minnesota, and will be visible from the Viking Stadium

and it will fly by again about 90 minutes later.

this is the website that tracks when and where the ISS is visible from the ground: ISS observation

If you have never seen it, it is about as bright as Venus, takes about 6 minutes to cross the sky horizon to horizon, and of course its completely silent. If you have 10X binoculars you can just make out the H shape of the solar panels.

Not quite as dramatic as having the Blue Angles fly over the stadium at mach 0.9999 on full afterburners

but the ISS is as big as the football field, its going 18,000 miles per hour, and it cost $300B it put it up there and run it for all these years....

they should vent something out as they cross the state.... vaporize their waste water tanks into orbit?

that wouldnt work, it wouldnt leave a trail.
