Hey everyone,

I'm new to the site and have a question I'm sure someone has answered before.

I have an 05 V Star Custom and I love it.

What size tire can I put on the stock rear rim without any mods?
I have heard a 200 will fit without any problems. Is there any truth to this?

Say NO. The engine, transmission and drive train are designed to run the tire size that comes on the bike. I LISTEN TO MY MECHANIC,

The tire size is limited by the clearance to the driveshaft.
