Ok I have a 2008 yamaha vstar 1100 ok well the bike runs good works as should but wear the pip gos In lacks oil and smokes white smoke what do I need to do it stil runs great it just that and I don't like it can anyone help me plz

Is it leaking down from above? That like sounds the tappet cover above the exhaust that drips down. There is an o-ring seal that leaks and is a known problem.

It looks like it’s coming from the valve cover adjustment gasket above the exhaust. Like mentioned above those gaskets wear out and need replacement fairly cheep and don’t over tighten the bolts when reinstalling

It is a common but quick fix. Mine did the same but the new o ring fixed it up.

Also when replacing it put the cover on a flat surface and check it is still flat, they bend easy. You can bend them back flat just as easy.
