Let me start by saying It is amazing how helpful this group has been for me on information on the new to me 2020 venture TC ,well here is my question has anybody been able to use a blue tooth equipped helmet to receive music/GPS information from the bikes system ?? I don’t care about communication between passenger and driver just would like to loose the wired headsets . Thanks for any information

Yes, I have done it, it did work fine, but the sound from the headset of the BT unit was an older one and the quality showed. I just use the external speakers now. I try not to take calls on te bike, it freaks out the callers. LOL

I have the wired setup now and it is much better, the quality is better, the mic is better, the speakers sound better, more base to them than the older BT. but if you do not care, just put the unit in search mode and find it on your Infotainment unit.
The only thing about the wired is that they stay with the helmet, it is not easy to trade around.

Thanks and just to be clear he was able to hear the GPS and Radio from the bikes system thru the helmets blue tooth ?
I do not think that is possible. I think some are linking to their phone and that is the source for GPS and Music. A couple others have stated similar claims but when pushed that has not been the case.

Thank you I was thinking the same thing I think I’ll just stick with the wired connection and just upgrade the helmet .

@Rlongo I was just on Cycle Gear's website looking for a new helmet for my wife, I did see that color on their site but it was just the helmet. No BlueTooth.
FYI, if you send in your helmet to J&M they will integrate them into your helmet so that you do have the clamp hanging on the side if that is one of the things you do not like about the wired version. I looked at it but did not feel it was worth the expense since I tend to go through helmets every few years.
