Has anyone installed one on their bike? I've got a XP Back Off Brake Light Module but not sure how to locate the correct wire to install it on my 950. Install should be pretty simple, just splicing it into your brake wire, but getting to the correct wire is the tricky part. Which is the brake wire and what is the best way to get to it and install this thing? It's best if done under the seat panel.

I put one on my 1100 a couple of years ago. I attached mine under the fender & haven't any problems. I'm not real electrical but I think if you took a test light & probed the wires while pressing on the brake pedal that should probably tell you which wire is the correct one.

These are the wire colors for the V-Star 1100, but most manufacturers often will use the same colors across and years--this might at least give you a starting point when you are looking.
