I wasn't on here much, but got a lot of good reading and advise and fix it suggestions.
Sold my Vstar a couple weeks ago for a Goldwing.
Thanks for helping me out here and there.

I would not mind having a Goldwing with the full fairing, if I could take Captain Kirks chair and luggage off the back fender.

'84 was the last year they made 'naked' GWs, unless you count the Valkyries.

If that's your preference, with the new GW, you can either buy the bagger version or the full decker with a factory quick-detach for the trunk.

Hopefully Yammie is paying attention to that last bit for the Star TC.

Yeah, $23,000 for a new one.

I never see used ones for sale that are not fully loaded interstate baggers with the passenger throne.

used ones with less than 10,000 miles come up for about half the price of a new one.

I see low mileage FJR-1300 bikes for $4k to $5k, about 8 to 10 years old.
