Anybody have the time (and experience) to give me the quick & dirty on changing Bowden cables. It's the idiosyncracies of Yamaha and the V-Star that I'm interested in.
What happens at the lever end and at the linkage end to get these things off and back on again?
And what are the pitfalls awaiting me?
These are the cables on a new (2009) 1100 Silverado. We added pullback risers, and the old cables are just that much too short.
