Just ordered a set of Bridgestone Exedra Max for my 1100 Classic. I got over 14000 miles on my last Exedra's and I'm hoping for better with the Max. Question - has anyone put Michelin Pilot 4's on their bike and how do you like them. With the sipes, I'm thinking they may be perfect for Washington weather and maybe my next tire purchase. Thanks all.

Michelin doesn't make a Pilot 4 to fit either of your rims. They're the wrong diameter and the load index seems targeted more for a sport bike in my opinion.

I'm a firm believer in the Michelin Commander IIs and will continue to buy them for the foreseeable future for my Roadstar. I've had pretty good results with Pirelli MT66s on my V Star. 4,000 miles on the rear and it looks pretty new still.

She'll be getting MCIIs whenever the existing tires wear out though. I ride with a guy who got over 19,000 out of a set on his Vaquero 1700.

That's very true 33. That's why I didn't buy them this time. I'm hoping to hear from someone who has ridden on them so I can decide if I want to purchase them next time, if they are available by then.
