Have an 07 Road Liner with only 1600 miles. Really like the bike, but want to tighten up the suspension. I have the rear spring turned up as tight as it goes, still too soft. Considering Progressive Suspension fork springs & #465 monoshock in the rear.

Searched the web, but couldn’t find any rider reviews on this upgrade. Anyone rigging Progressive Suspension or other brand upgrades on their Liners?

I have the stock height progressive fork springs with 15w fork oil. I also have the 465 progressive rear shock. They were done at separate times. I feel they were both a major improvement over stock.

I'm running them on my 950, I installed the front springs with an extra 1" of spacer, and that make it to my liking. I have the back shock about half way adjusted.
Huge difference, the bike doesn't bottom out, when I come off bridges anymore.

How much of the fork spacers did you have to trim?

I did the forks springs a few years back, so unfortunately I don’t recall. As I remember, I just followed the recommendations on the directions. The rear shock I did this past winter while I had it apart to do the 240 tire mod. Pretty straightforward, just takes a bit to get the set up that’s best.

I’ll do the forks first, & save for the rear shock.

Side note, knew a guy who told me he would only pay cash for his toys, never on credit. I do the same and it’s made me really think about my purchases.
