Got the same thing with my 650 dunno what's going on the bike will work under load for a minute then misfire and Die now ... Oddly after a car wash ...lmk what u find out
The declaration pop was always there, just baffled with stock exhaust. It's caused by unburnt fuel entering the exhaust, hitting the hot exhaust and is ignited. On a fuel injected bike a fuel processor or ECU (Ivan's) flash can reduce it. Another way to reduce the popping, don't slam the throttle all the way close quickly. Close is 90 percent or so, then close it the rest a split second later. This will eliminate most popping but some have a different time adjusting to this.I own a 2011 Yamaha 950 tourer. I recently purchase a new aftermarket cobra system. I am getting continuous popping now only when I decelerate. Can anyone assist?
