Hello,
I am from Europe Bulgaria. Just wanted to show the European edition. I have bought it from the local Yamaha dealer. Probably the only 2 differences with the US edition are the name and the ecological standard. It has EURO 3.

Nice bike you have there GeorgiG. I never though about them having a different model name. Drag star sounds like a sports bike, more get-up-and-go then v star. i don't see a AIS on it? must be the ecological diff?

AIS air induction system. When you let off of the throttle-gas will get by the motor so the AIS will put a shot of air in the exhaust to support combustion in the exhaust pipe.

Bike looks good, as you said does not look a lot different than our V Star. Is it warm enough to ride there now? My bike is under cover for a while.

AIS stands for Air Injection System. Air is injected into exhaust to burn off gas. Guess you do not have this.

Is your bike for fun, transportation, or both?

the spring is just coming in Bulgaria and it is around 10 degrees at noontime so the riding season has just began
I am riding my bike for fun and transportation. I spend my holidays riding around contry. Every weekend we have a moto-fair organized by the local moto clubs so it is a big fun at summer time.
