Could some one please explain the difference between a V Star Classic and a Dragstar. All of the videos I`ve seen of Drag Stars show the same paint scheme as my bike. Now I`m wondering if I have a classic or a Drag Star?

I think the Drag Star is sold in Europe. Your model number is on the plate behind the headlight on the fram. Compare it with model numbers on starmotorcycles.com. Maybe in the section with owners manuals.

Here is a Dragstar I found on the web. Looks like the tank emblem is different.

Yep agree, I think they are pretty much one in the same, just depends what country you are in as to what the call it. Vstar don't sell dragsters here in Aust. but the classic appears to be the same bike from what I have seen

It's exactly the same bikes lads. In Europe it's called the DragStar.
I've bought various bits & pieces for my bikes from the US because they're completely overpriced here etc, and I've had to deal with things being advertised as V Star bits but they're exactly the same as the Dragstar.
The only difference is the badge on the tank.
I've bought a tank from the US too, had V Star painted onto it, had to get it resprayed & stuck on "DragStar" badges myself

I just remembered 1 difference, well I think it's only on the california V stars (open to correction here..), the AIS. There's no AIS on the Dragstars.
