After 3 years of waiting, I finally got my ride. It was between this one and a Honda VTX. So glad I picked this beauty. She's an '05 1100 Classic Silverado with 2100 miles and got her for a great price.
congratulations. i was deciding between the VTX and a V Star before i got my ride as well. but i have you beat. i waited nearly 5 years. put a down payment on a V Star 1100 in '04 but things fell through and it wasn't until '09 until i finally got my V Star. glad i waited. '09 was the first year of the 950 and i couldn't imagine owning a better bike. oh, the places you two will go.............
My name is Mike. Live in So. Cal. (unfortunately). Been riding my entire life, well from 14 anyway, I'm 60 now. Owned all kinds of bikes over the years but this is my first V Star. I just picked up a 2013 1300 Deluxe. Very happy with it so far. I look forward to another forum, and seeing...
Had the bike for 4-5 years. Just never really got into riding it with moving, working on house, having 2 kids etc. now I am getting back into the swing of things and making some modifications. Seats/risers/figuring out a way to put a radio on this thing. I’m excited to amp up the mileage this year.
Hey all, I just recently bought a 2007 Vstar 650. I eventually want to do a bobber build on it but for now I want to get the bike in perfect running condition. I have a lot to learn about bikes but am eager to get into getting my hands dirty.
Hey Everyone, new member here in the forum from Barrie Ontario area. I bought my first cruiser bike. Always road crotch rockets until now. 2004 Yamaha V Star 1100 Classic is my new ride. I look forward to all the chats and rides!
Newbie here, so some coaching will probably be needed. Current ride is a 2013 Roadliner S, purchased new in 2016. 50k miles of trouble-free joy so far. Looking into a new 2018 Eluder GT. Best wishes to all and may your rides be safe, your maintenance low, and your satisfaction high.
