Anyone know if you can get the individual parts to rebuild a 1100 fuel cap? I don't really want to buy a new one with a different key than my ignition, etc.
And don't want to have to buy it all together to match.
One of my screws came loose and ball bearings and other unk parts went flying across the gas station parking lot.
I'm now one screw short and no idea what else from inside the cap and it won't function properly.
All my searching just finds the whole cap or aftermarket ones. I was hoping I could just get the parts to fix mine and keep my original keys.

Any ideas? Or does anyone have a used one cheaper than Ebay? ($80 to 100 ish)

Thanks..

Well no luck on that site, but I did manage to find a buddy with an aftermarket cap that he had that fit and works perfectly.
Different key than mine, but at least I can fill up and lock it down again. $25 total for the cap and it looks good..

I wonder if a good locksmith would be able to remove the lockset from your old cap and reinstall it in the new one?? then you can still use your original key. just a thought....
