hi..just put a hard chrom 2into2 full exhaust and chubby air kit pods on my 2003 1100 v-star classic ....i seem to get a flat spot when i give her from 1/8 to 1/4 throttle....i put 22.5 pilots 150 mains pms screws @ 3.25 turns and 2 shims over the stock shim for the needles....any suggestions?...thanks

I'm running the same basic setup and Im at 2.8 washer thickness. Found some stainless #4 washers at my local hardware store. Mic'ed them at .9mm the standard thickness is .5mm. Bought a bag of them and mic'ed them with a digital caliper. the ID had to be opened to .120" for the needle. If you don't want to go through all that go to 3 shim washers on your needles.

do u think i am running to lean on the needle then?.....i see u got your pms set to 2.75 turn ...i got mine @ 3.25 turns ...thinkin now the pms to rich maybe from 1/8 throttle to 1/4 throttle transition....it like almost stumbles when i crank the throttle
