Went to the dealer to get some oil (engine and gears). The guy that helped me out said I can use the Honda 80w/85w Trans Oil for my gears.
Without thinking I went ahead and used it. Now after the fact, I'm wondering if it could cause damage to my gears since it's not what the manual says to use. I've taken her out for a 2-3 mile test ride and all seems good but in the long run, can that oil damage my gears?
Any thoughts? Should I drain it and put the correct oil in (was thinking Lucas 80w90).
