Just wondering what is better to use for the gear cogs in rear wheel assymbly? Saw where it was recommended to lube every time u pulled the wheel for anything because of not being available unless purchase the whole piece so thought it best to ask? Another note I'm a day or 2 from setting engine back on an hooking everything up to see if It fires or if I missed something else but fingers crossed I'd like to ride lol,

The book calls for lithium grease, I am very old school who cut his teeth racing motorcycles and I always used heavy Valvoline bearing grease. Don't forget to grease the driveshaft splines on both ends and the coupler connecting the driveshaft to the differential.

read the book on this subject. They call out a specific grease as the sliding motion wipes the grease, leading to wear.
