Hey guys, I've heard some good things about the Royal Star tour deluxe handlebars and they fit great with a Memphis Shades batwing. Upon looking at the fitment I can only find the Vstar 1300 listed. Does anyone have any experience with these bars on a 950? Is there really that much difference between the models that these handlebars wouldn't fit? I'm looking for some pullback and more comfort without having to swap out all of my cables. Thanks in advance!

Risers?

After doing some more research it looks like risers would be an easier way to get the position I'm looking for, the only problem is trying to find them.

Does anyone know where I can get a 2" rise with a 1" pullback that will fit on 1" bars?

Found it

After doing some research I figured out that a 4" rise will only move the bars up 2". It just took some time to find the info. Anyone have these risers on a 950 in particular? My main point was not to have to change the lines and if I use risers that would eliminate some time spent working on the task.

Risers It Is

I just ordered a set of phatrisers from scootworks.com for the V-star 950. It says that they will provide an additional 1.5" raise with a 2" pullback all while being able to keep the stock wiring in place. I'll take pictures and let you know how it goes. BTW I'm 5'8 so the reach is just a little uncomfortable after several hours on the bike. I'm hoping this will allow me to stay longer in the seat without being uncomfortable.
