Hi everyone. New rider here. I was the last in my family to get interested in bikes but I finally have the bug. I've been a car guy my whole life and now i guess two wheels seems Like fun.

Picked up on 02 1100 classic from my dad in ridiculously good shape. Looking to get some ideas, find some parts and information, and contribute to the community! :)

Crappy photo for now lol

Welcome to the forum late bloomer. Great ride you got yourself and what an intro. It's even got a pic :). Your name will be entered in the weekly draw of a ride on Bevo's bike when he goes to Florida. Post often, contribute to our mod fund and let us know how you found the MSF class.

Ride safe and keep it shiny side up.

Hello from the Midwest and welcome to the forum!

That pic is rather surreal. I kept expecting a second shot panned out to show a miniature train village with that shot of the bike being next to a miniature garage (ladder and all)!

Regardless, I'm looking forward to more pics. Post often.

Thank you for the welcome!

About the MSF course...I actually very much enjoyed all of it. My class was small and we had a great relationship with our coaches and really had a great time. I learned an enormous amount and feel much more comfortable riding afterward. It is a required course here in Florida, but I would highly recommend the course for absolutely anyone.

He was a great teacher- kept a running scoreboard for the weekend 'submarine' races up on the blackboard- stuff you couldn't get away with today. Again, welcome to the looney bin- nice ride, I'm starting to catch a bit of cc-itis, and that may be my next step
